🌟 Celebrating a Successful Family Café Event in Orlando! 🌟 We had wonderful experience at the Family Café in Orlando! This event provided us with an incredible opportunity to showcase the Autism License Plate and connect with a diverse array of organizations, entrepreneurs, and families. It was heartwarming to see so many passionate individuals coming together to support and empower people with disabilities. The connections made and resources shared will undoubtedly make a lasting impact on our community. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a memorable success. Tonight we kicked off the 45th Annual Bank of America Starlight Musicals series! Arc Broward was the non-profit of the night and we enjoyed volunteering with them. Their School of Hire students were pros at selling raffle tickets and having a great time! 🎟 Bank of America Starlight Musicals are happening every Friday night through August 9th, 7 - 10pm, at Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale. Come out to volunteer with us or bring your family and friends to enjoy the beautiful evening. It's 10 weeks of music under the stars! 🎶✨️

Goosebumps and happy tears! We are SO EXCITED for our very own Little Miss Arc Broward and Florida Panthers superfan Mikayla! Mikayla caught the attention of the Florida Panthers, the NHL and ABC's Good Morning America when she displayed her Panthers Pride and RATtled off facts about the team's history as only a superfan can during the recent Miss Arc Broward Pageant. This morning, they surprised her live on air with tickets to game 1 of the Stanley Cup, making her dreams come true! The Miss Arc Broward Pageant opens doors to incredible opportunities while spreading a powerful message that individuals with disabilities deserve opportunities to shine. Last week we had our first ever Summer Internship Placement Palooza. It was match day for 40 students who learned about the power of YES and found out where they will spend 7 weeks this summer interning with some of the finest employers in our community. Thank you to our employer partners - City of Coral Springs, Broward County Animal Care, Burger King, Publix Super Markets, Chili's, Walgreens Your YES to participating in the STEP summer internship program does so much more than just provide a job. You give our students the chance to turn classroom skills into hands-on experience, offering a safe and empowering space where they can truly shine. Your YES helps them grow, feel useful, and gain purpose. It means our job coaches can push expectations and help students develop into the employees you want to see in the workforce. To our students: Your bravery and positive energy are truly inspiring. Thank you for saying YES and embracing this challenge. We are so proud of your hard work and can't wait to see where this experience takes you! We know you will put into action all of the skills you learned during the school year and prove to the world that you ready and able to work hard.
