If you can think it, do it: Let’s create a world without waste together | Interzero | ALBA Group Asia | ALBA BERLIN
Congratulations to ALBA BERLIN Basketballteam on reaching the final of the German Championship. And congratulations to NINERS Chemnitz. You have played an outstanding season this year. It was exciting right to the end. But you earned this success with great passion and commitment. Game after game, despite all the injuries and challenges, you have found your way more and more into our incomparable ALBA-rhythm, which was a joy to watch. Once again you have shown that it is not about single superstars but about well-designed teamwork, trust and dedication. Values that we at Interzero also share. As jersey sponsor and environmental partner, we are proud of what we have achieved together so far – both on and off the court. I’m very much looking forward to the finals and to watching the art of your game. Go ALBA! #ALBABERLIN #team #partnership #mitleibundseele

ALBA Champions Environmental Responsibility at Income Eco Run Last week, ALBA colleagues in Singapore, along with their friends and family, participated in the Income Eco Run, an event promoting environmental conservation. The run pledged to match a dollar for every 1KM completed, with funds going to support the Singapore Green Plan 2030, in partnership with the Singapore Environment Council (SEC). As an official partner, ALBA set up an educational booth at the event to raise awareness about e-waste recycling. We were pleased to welcome Dr. Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Singapore, who visited our booth. Additionally, we organized a collection drive, allowing participants to conveniently recycle e-waste. We extend our gratitude to all colleagues who participated in the event. Throughout the race, we cheered each other on, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of teamwork and environmental responsibility. #EnvironmentalResponsibility #IncomeEcoRun #Sustainability #EWaste #SingaporeGreenPlan #Teamwork #CommunityEngagement

Fostering Global Engagement: Dialogue with ESSEC Business School Students Last week in Thailand, we had the privilege of hosting 132 students and faculty members from ESSEC Business School, one of the world's top-ranked business schools. This follows our earlier hosting of SMIB program students from ESSEC Asia-Pacific at our E-Waste facility in Singapore in February. In collaboration with our partner Wongpanit ., we welcomed these guests, who came from 8 different countries and diverse backgrounds, bringing a wealth of perspectives and experiences to the table. During their visit, our General Manager in Thailand, Khomphakhin Pattanachai, provided an insightful introduction to the concepts of the circular economy. aiming to instill a deeper awareness of society’s challenges in the students and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications. This dialogue enriched their understanding of sustainability practices. We look forward to continuing our commitment to education and sustainable development initiatives in partnership with esteemed institutions like ESSEC Business School. #GlobalEngagement #Education #FutureLeaders #Partnerships #Thailand

A Memorable Week with IFAT worldwide and Facility Tours! Five days filled with inspiring conversations, fascinating individuals, and exciting basketball hoop duels at IFAT in Munich. The world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management truly fulfilled its promise as a solutions platform, knowledge hub, and networking event. Alongside our sister company Interzero, we showcased our entire range of offerings at the fair. Representatives from ALBA Group Asia were pleased to welcome delegations from Hong Kong and Thailand at our booth, where we presented our zero waste solutions in Germany. Following this, the delegations visited our facilities in Marl, Leipzig, and Liebenau, gaining deeper insights into Interzero’s expertise and industry advantages in plastics recycling. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all colleagues who supported this exhibition and the visits!
