This past week, we hosted our first Youth Leadership and Service Summit of the summer! Our students engaged in various leadership and service activities throughout the week, including hearing insights about food insecurity from Food Bank staff and visiting the Capitol to meet with Representative Mandisha Thomas. In addition, they demonstrated their commitment by participating in volunteer shifts at Urban Recipe and Food Well Alliance, our Community Food Centers, and our Hunger Action Center. We're so proud of our students' dedication to impacting our community!
