As part of ATS’s employee engagement (called PILLARS), we have an entire program dedicated to “Strengthening Communities” which includes volunteer activities, charity fundraising, and community outreach. This year, ATS sponsored several youth sports teams, including the Vienna Vipers Girls U18 Softball League. We are excited to announce that last night, these young ladies WON the league championship!!! Cheers to these girls for their hard work, commitment, and sportsmanship, and a huge thanks to Coach Jorge Rosa (@cushman&wakefield) for his time and dedication to this team and the winning season. Monday night ATS celebrated our CFO Dave Timmons who was a finalist at this years Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Technology Awards. Dave was nominated for Transformative Financing Transaction CFO of the Year, centered on his leadership of the Alder Technology acquisition. The acquisition was listed as a Notable PE Bolt-On in KPMG’s Government Services Review for the second half of 2023. M&A remains a critical element of ATS’s continued growth across the sector, and Dave’s experience is key to our success! As ATS grows, so do great career opportunities for our employees along with building more wealth for our ATS employee-owners in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)!  Way to go Dave!

🎉 Today, on International Women’s Day, we stand in admiration of the incredible women who make ATS what it is. We get to honor one of our newest employee owners, Lisa Egeland, VP Consulting & Analytics Division. We asked our women to share some of their experiences as being women working in the GovCon (defense) industry. Thanks Lisa for sharing these 2 great experiences! Navigating Challenges: “I have found much success throughout my career by building a strong network of “allies” – both male and female - people who will back you up in meetings when you feel your voice isn’t heard. In one job, we had a rule that if someone raised a good idea that was ignored, someone else would repeat the idea while giving kudos to the original person – “I love what Lisa said about…” Not only does it help with gaining respect and recognition, but I find often results in amazing and lasting friendships!” Highlighting a Mentor: “For the last seven years, Kellene Bruce Ecker, VP of National Security Operations at LMI has been my all-star mentor and friend. I could write a book on the life lessons I learned through her that made me the person I am today, but the one I carry with me every day is: don’t be afraid to put yourself first. As women, we try to carry the weight of the world – work a full-time job, raise a family, take care of ailing parents, maintain friendships – and some days you just want to hide away. There were several days I was so burned out I would call her up and just start crying. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with showing emotion. Emotion isn’t a sign of weakness – it is a sign of being human and understanding your limits.
