The AAA-ICDR Foundation celebrates Pride Month with a spotlight on the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and its impactful Advocacy Action Plan. In 2023, Foundation Annual Cycle grantee NAPABA demonstrated its unwavering commitment to advocacy by unveiling an Advocacy Action Plan to unite the local AAPI community in constructive dialogue and action. This decisive response came after hosting its annual meeting in Indiana amidst legislative challenges affecting LGBTQ+ rights. The AAA-ICDR Foundation has awarded a $40,000 Rapid Response Grant to Sustained Dialogue Institute to bolster campus readiness for facilitated conversations in higher education, addressing the effects of violence in the Middle East. A pioneer in peace processes, Sustained Dialogue employs intentional and replicable methods to foster understanding and action in intergroup conflicts, aligning with the Foundation’s mission.
