Catholic Health and Smile Farms Inc. have cut the ribbon to their second cooperative garden to help fight hunger on Long Island. Smile Farms, which was created by Jim McCann and Chris McCann, provides meaningful work opportunities for people with disabilities to grow, sell, and donate plants, produce, and products in the community. This new garden will be tended by patients in the Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) Program and the produce will be shared with food-insecure individuals at Mercy Hospital’s Family Care Center in Rockville Centre. Congrats on this wonderful milestone!

She has been with us for over two decades and has always shown great enthusiasm and approaches each project with a positive attitude. Last week, the Center for Developmental Disabilities, Inc. 853 School hosted their Prom with a fun Candy Land theme!
