I'm not a fan of pre-designed templates as they are too "rigid". When I first moved over to WordPress the templates were nigh on un-customisable and it was difficult to integrate the information I wanted to convey - was a Discography page and I eventually managed to adapt it and the user would then click on the particular album cover/picture which would direct them to the dedicated link to that Discography for that page. No end of issues with text placement and Jpeg country pictures back then. The new WordPress interface and design tools are obviously a world apart these days.
