To stay engaged and keep the relationship alive I started by following them on Social media platforms like Facebook, Linkedln, Twitter, etc. Following their company page and keeping a closer look at their posts they do on important subjects. Most of the time, I read their post or over social platforms if I can comment on anything I will describe clearly my statement, or if I have nothing to share I at least like the statement they made and share those valuable points on my social media pages. The pictures they post on social media, I like them or at least comment stating nice pics. This small attempt will keep you in constant touch with your network. They might not write back to you but will keep you in their mind.
