Building our EQ, our emotional intelligence, helps us to see things from another perspective, not take everything personally, and be responsible for our actions. The game changer for me has been meditation and self-awareness: simply gaining the ability to notice when we may want to react or overreact to something and instead create space to consider the event and then respond.
