Determine the times of day when you're most alert and receptive to learning, and schedule your study sessions accordingly. During these periods, eliminate distractions and focus solely on your brand strategy materials to maximize productivity.
-
Time blocks are the best thing to ever happen in my professional life, and it's not even hyperbolic. The most productive thing you can do is schedule time out of your day for specific tasks: Reading, sending emails, posting on social media, working on a project. It feels a bit OCD but trust me – if you start using your calendar almost as a diary for your day-to-day tasks, you'll find balance.
-
I believe in the power of structured learning. Allocating specific time blocks for brand strategy study aligns with our goal of continuous improvement. Active learning techniques can help you absorb brand strategy concepts more effectively. Instead of passively reading or watching tutorials, engage with the material. Participate in online forums, practice by creating mock brand strategies, or teach the concepts to someone else. This active engagement makes the learning process more dynamic and can lead to a deeper understanding of the principles of brand strategy. Plus, it's a great way to make use of your time by ensuring that you're not just going through the motions but actually retaining the information.
-
Focus your learning on what you are ready to apply. I, like many of you, love learning, which on the surface, is great. However, I have found myself so focussed on jamming through a degree, course, book, or training in pursuit of "more" that a lot of times, what fills my head never makes it to my hands. When it comes to learning, choose quality over quantity every time. Invest your limited free time in studying the things you can act on now and it will pay dividends today and long into the future.
-
Micro Learning is a Key! Engage actively with brand strategy concepts rather than passively consuming information. Participate in discussions, practice applying concepts in real-world scenarios, or teach the material to someone else. Active learning techniques help deepen understanding and retention, making your study sessions more effective.
-
I engage with the material more deeply, and that improves retention. Taking notes, summarizing key concepts, or trying to explain them to myself ensures I don't just passively skim through information
-
Make sure to constantly filter the information you are reviewing and what you are learning. Yes, it is important to learn from other experts in your industry, but part of growing as a brand strategy leader is to bring your own point of view to the work. Question what you are watching or reading, come up with your own hypothesis of why a strategy works for a client/project, and actively seek feedback from mentors.
-
If you find it challenging to manage time while learning brand strategy, adopt active learning techniques to enhance your understanding and efficiency. Instead of passively consuming content, engage directly with the material. You can participate in online forums, develop mock brand strategies, or even explain the concepts to others. These methods of active participation not only make your learning experience more dynamic but also deepen your grasp of brand strategy principles. This approach ensures that your study time is effectively used, leading to better retention and application of the knowledge you gain.

I recognize that learning communities are a vast resource. Finding a mentor, joining an online group, or even bouncing ideas off a friend can give me new perspectives and help me when I'm stuck.
-
Regular reflection is a powerful tool for balancing your time while learning brand strategy. Take moments to assess what's working and what isn't in your study routine. Take time to reflect on your progress and learning experiences regularly. Evaluate which strategies and techniques are effective and which ones need adjustment. Taking short periods to reflect on what I've learned is key. It helps me identify what's working, what isn't, and course-correct efficiently when needed.

Aprender nuevas habilidades lleva tiempo y esfuerzo. No te desanimes si no ves resultados inmediatos. Acepta que el progreso puede ser lento

(edited)It can be overwhelming when you have too much on your plate, but with constraints, come innovation. Time to innovate your process for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Have your headphones on for as long as humanly possible. It will not only send a signal to people to not disturb you right now so you can solely focus on the task at hand, it will also ensure that you make the most of your time by listening to podcasts or audiobooks while commuting, working out or doing other low-level tasks that don't require your cognitive loads. Be sure to clean them regularly to stay hygienic, and go to the beach or a park and feel the wind blowing through your face and ears to 'wind' down.

Energy Management. Instead of focusing solely on time management, consider managing your energy levels throughout the day—it's like fueling up your car for a long road trip. Pay attention to when you feel most alert and productive, and tackle your most challenging tasks during those peak hours.
-
7. Avoid Comparing Journeys I actively remind myself that everyone learns at their own pace. Comparing my progress to others can be a huge demotivator. Instead, I focus on my own growth and celebrate small victories along the way.
