*** Work only with people you like. You should network only with people you are naturally attracted to (in a professional way of course ;) ) and also who you feel they share the same values. Things go slow, so you need to nudge them gently. People don't have time, you are not important right now. Slowly nudge, slowly nudge, be nice, give only relevant information you want to connect to. Sometime for me it touch years but it was worth it.
