Certainly it's, "Network, network, network." A job search is a learning journey and networking is your best teacher. You can network 1:1 with your Champions, or you can network at scale; e.g., by attending events (virtual and in-person), joining online discussions & communities, and even heading back to your alma mater for ideas. If you're hesitant to start "networking" (aka building relationships & having conversations), start with your Champions - those closest to you and whom you frequently interact with, anyway. Reframe the conversation and ask them if they have suggestions of others you can learn from. And then you're off and running!

I was told they didn't have anything, however she would forward my resume to someone else. That actually led to an interview and later on to a job.
