What seemed like significant issues often appear trivial once I am rested and ready to go. Remember, a small 2 to 3-day break will not help you achieve this reset.

According to my experience, a leader is the one who makes his team believe in the future, so s/he must believe in him/erself first under all circumstances. The profile that should be exemplary is the leader, it is important to provide internal motivation. If s/he is passionate about what s/he does, s/he will not experience burnout. When there is a problem, one should focus on the solution and plan for the future.

We are all hungry. We want to see change. That's why it's tempting to think that more is better. More work. More effort. All for more rewards. But that's why it's important to schedule more rest. Schedule restoration habits or practices; for example, hitting the gym an hour a week or daily praying or mediating. Incorporate rest into your schedule. And remember, time off won't heal you if your problem is time on.

Boundaries are so important and something I myself struggle to set when I get super invested in the chase, so to speak. For my team aim to ensure they feel they can go home on time and come back rested and refreshed for tomorrow, the work will always be there, our health and family, is too important to let drop. I find it helps to talk priorities, give your team reminders to take a break and move around, to acknowledge what they would expect of a friend and do the same for themself. It’s a challenge as we can push ourselves to keep working at times, but we must continually catch ourselves and find a balance!

Boundaries are one of the key defenders of burnout. I believe most people are aware that they need to set them. However, its knowing what type of boundaries to implement and exactly how to re-enforce them as well. First, your boundaries must be aligned with your values and principles.
