Be proactive in terms of taking on new projects, setting your own deadlines and project managing your work. 3. Take advantage of all in-person opportunities such as brainstorming, offsites, team events. Your presence at these will go a long way. 4. Use company and industry events to talk to partners and customers F2F. I've noticed that the bond that's built with customers offline gives you deeper insights into their POV.

One of the biggest challenges in remote product marketing is the inability to meet and understand customers in a F2F setting . This leads to an acute challenge in terms of perceiving non-verbal cues which the customer may want to communicate. Few ways to circumnavigate this is : - Keeping the limitations in mind ensuring that we have an open dialogue with the customers on a regular basis - Conducting regular Voice-Of-Customer engagements(even if digitally) to create inclusiveness and testing out early prototypes - Creating regular connects at pre-defined trigger points to ascertain post sales experience - Giving a dedicated channel for the customer to voice his grievances and getting customer issues resolved
