You need to set yourself OKR's - these will help you to focus. One singular objective tied to your strategic outcome, with 3-5 measurable key results that essentially tell you what to focus on. Anything else doesn't matter, you focus on what your KR's are - measure them weekly and sprint quarterly.

Time management is key when completing tasks. I view thought leadership as a creative endeavor rather than task oriented. In order to ‘complete tasks’ in thought leadership, one must find inspiration. There are times when we may not feel Inspired. In those times it feels more like a task and chore to complete. When one is inspired, goals and visions become clear and easier to accomplish. When applying time management to this, we may not choose when we are inspired. I view inspiration as two separate words- In- Spirit. When we are aligned with our own spirit and have inspiration, we can create and co-create. Sometimes this cannot be dialed down to a block of time. Most times, it is often spontaneous.
