I've learnt about delegation for a very long time now, even in branding. I think delegation helps productivity, in the sense that one person is not saddled with the responsibilities of 5 persons. Learning to delegate tasks even helps a person's mental and physical health.

What I found useful is exploiting the Italian “right to disconnect”. That goes from literally disconnecting your personal devices from work accounts of any kind to detaching your mind from work-related (intrusive) thoughts. Every free time activity that entertains, in Italy we say “diverts” (as per “divertissement”, latin “divertere” = “turn elsewhere”) your mind is good for your self-care. Either mind-centred or body-centred hobbies or interests are fine. The important thing is to really di-vert, to turn elsewhere, to be elsewhere body+mind.
