Based on my personal experience, I see this as highly beneficial for the personal and professional development of a "junior" profile in the sector. I strongly believe that seeking mentorship from a senior professional in the real estate industry can be key to advancing our careers as property managers. A mentor can provide us with technical knowledge and practical skills not taught in universities (speaking from my experience in Spain), and help us develop soft skills such as negotiation and conflict resolution. Additionally, the network of contacts of a senior colleague can open doors for us and provide valuable references: trust me.

When i started out in property management, I knew nothing about it. What taught me the most was doing showings. I showed homes constantly and learned a lot about what’s important to property owners and renters. This helped me better understand how to effectively market homes and become a better manager over time.
