In my opinion, this advice is not beneficial. Portraying confidence and certainty may give the impression to your team that you have all the answers and they should simply follow your directions without questioning. This approach does not lead to the optimal performance of your team. Instead, it is important to be transparent about what you are uncertain about, seek input and assistance from your team members, and consider various perspectives before making decisions. In today's complex and interconnected world, it is impossible for a leader to have all the knowledge and it is not wise to pretend otherwise.
