Engaging others into the "vision" you have for the job you want helps them a) feel like they are being supportive and b) hones who they think about who to introduce you to. This exact process works great at a networking event, during one to ones, in linkedIN, out on social, at the park, at a family dinner. You just NEVER know where that will take you!
