Always be a leader not a boss, always remember with out your team you and your business has no future. Nurture , praise and encourage your team, always make sure they feel a part of the situations you experience on any project and always take time to listen.
-
Recognition plays an important role in any project. When critical works done by certain team members are appreciated with a small token of recognition, it creates two channels - one, other team members develop human feelings for the project/ work/ company, which propels them to be motivated, two - the team members who are recognised, their high motivation levels sustain for a longer time, elevating the overall team spirit. And remember, who doesn't like to be recognised and appreciated (remember - school days). Recognition creates a long term opportunity for more open discussion between you and team members.
-
-
Celebrate good results with your team. The feeling is always positive because the worst sensation within a team is when contact with the manager only occurs when negative things happen. It generates the sensation that nothing is right
-
Recognition is the key factor for driven success as it motivates team members to perform well and given more then 100% in their assign task.
-
One of the problems you have when working with several or a large group of people, we are never able to see the potential of those next to you. It is always important to listen to each person, even if it is the silliest idea, it can be a great solution. We must always pay attention to each collaborator's ideas and give them the opportunity to participate and make changes. The most encouraging words for an employee are simply. YOU DID VERY WELL, CONGRATULATIONS, KEEP LIKE THIS,
-
Parabenizar a conquista da equipe, tanto individuais quanto as coletivas, reconhecer o esforço e o sucesso pode aumentar e motivar a equipe a continuar se esforçando
Finally, use the insights gained from performance evaluations to refine your team management strategies. If certain approaches are not yielding the desired outcomes, be prepared to adjust your tactics. For instance, if collaborative projects are consistently behind schedule, consider revising your project management methods or team structure to enhance efficiency.
-
Assess whether the existing goals are still relevant and aligned with the company's objectives. If necessary, update or refine the goals to ensure they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members. Create opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, such as regular team meetings, brainstorming sessions, or project reviews. This can lead to fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
-
To maximize the success of electrical engineering teams through performance evaluations, establish clear goals, provide regular feedback, use objective metrics, recognize achievement, offer growth opportunities, address underperformance promptly, foster collaboration, and evaluate team dynamics. Through these steps, ensure alignment, motivation, skill development, and a supportive environment, enhancing team effectiveness and productivity.
-
The simple answer to this question is - "You can't". Performance Evaluations are non-sense. Usually they are implemented when there are bad processes that do not promote business success - but were formulated by management (or worse yet, consultants) to which the employees are required to live by. Since they have to perform them, they are the experts on how to improve the processes - but management thinks their processes can't be bad so it must be the employee. And "boom" performance evaluations are implemented since it MUST be the employees' faults. This fosters unhealthy competition rather than teamwork. How many parents save up all year to issue discipline or praise to a child? Same concept.
