1. Gain experience in the relevant industry , e.g, if you want to be a power plant professional, then gain experience in power sector 2. After having 3+ years of hands-on experience, move to a bigger firm keeping permanent role into consideration 3. Meanwhile, keep updates of the systems (technically as well as commercially) regarding your goal. Don't forget to apply for that role 4. After 5 to 6 years of experience, start applying for your goal role with full dedication 5. Take seniors' advices into consideration also. They are quite helpful

Actually I agree with this , but personally I feel more comfortable when commited with strict schedule , and when emergencies happened it could be be resolved in its time ..

I agree with that , permanent position is more better than temporary in the regard of job security like insurance , ..etc .. if one does not like the job he is doing ,then temporary job will be so boring ..

Others might like to build something up and enjoy seeing the results for a while.

Temporary positions are useless unless there’s a permanent position promised after a certain period of time. Other than that it’s a waist of time is my perspective on the subject.
