Five men were arrested in Macon County early Monday morning and accused of kidnapping a girl from Indiana, according to court documents.

Marlon P. Aguilar, 44, Arturo A. Eustaquito, 41, Carlos O. Funez, 56, Noe N. Guzman Hernandez, 24, and Daniel E. Ruiz Lopez, 19, were arrested at 2:27 a.m. and taken to the Macon County Jail on a 24-hour hold, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

State troopers received reports of a missing girl from Cass County, Indiana, early Monday morning, and data from her cellphone showed she was in Missouri, according to court documents.

A state trooper located a vehicle matching the description the girl's father had provided when she went missing. When the trooper stopped the vehicle, they located the missing girl inside, according to court documents.

Court documents allege the men were trafficking the girl to California.

The five men are charged with endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, according to online court records.

Initial bond hearings were held for each suspect Friday, and bond review hearings were scheduled for next week, according to online court records.
