Hello Nikki4,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
If your thermostat is not turning on, I understand how frustrating it can be if you can't control your system. But don't worry. Let's get to the bottom of this and get your thermostat back on track.
What specific type of Nest thermostat do you have? When did you notice your thermostat not turning on? Your thermostat receives its power directly from your HVAC system, so it's important to ensure there haven't been any power outages that could have caused the system to not supply enough power to your thermostat.
Ensure the breakers of your HVAC equipment haven't been turned off and the wires in your thermostat are properly seated on the base.
While you check the base and wiring, charge your thermostat by plugging the display directly into an outlet with the USB port on the back for around 2 hours. Once that's done, you can put it back on the base and check if any power errors are displayed on your thermostat.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.
