We want to test customizations and we need to upgrade our plan to Business Plus. Accordingly, after payment we will test for a month and then make a subscription downgrade. Question, we will not lose the current settings and data from workspace? And won't the current GCPW settings in standalone form be broken?

Upgrading your Google Workspace subscription from Business Starter to Business Plus should not result in any loss of current settings or data in your workspace. When you upgrade, your data, settings, and configurations will remain intact. This includes emails, files in Google Drive, and other configurations.
Regarding Google Credential Provider for Windows (GCPW) settings in standalone form, these should also remain unaffected by the upgrade. GCPW configurations are typically independent of the subscription plan and are managed through your organization's admin console and device policies.
