Recently I was doing Arcade level 1 game while doing a secure BigLake data lab on it . in the instruction page it displayed a skill badge after completion but even after completion no such badge displayed in the profile. So is it that I won't receive the badge, or should I do something more to earn that particular badge?

Continue working on the other labs of the skill badge. Once you start your 2nd lab, you will see the green tick appear on the lab you did for the arcade.

Okayy understood,but there is no green tick along with the challenge lab eventhough I completed it in arcade game. So I have to do the whole step again to get badge?
It may happen. After every lab, you receive an email titled "You finished a Qwiklab". It tells you your lab completion percentage. If it is not 100%, you will need to repeat it. I experienced it myself in the past despite getting all tasks green.
