I was excited to sign up for the Innovators Plus program when I first heard about it. Seems like a pretty good deal if you want to learn about Google cloud: unlimited use of Cloud Skills Boost, exam voucher, plus $500 in credits. I signed up in August but when I went to claim my credits it failed. The message just said that the code was invalid. I opened a ticket and then got stuck in this endless loop with their support, which clearly has no idea how to fix anything. They would send messages thanking me for my patience while they delayed. A couple of times they sent me new codes which just resulted in the same error. Then finally this week I got an email saying that since my ticket had been opened for a long time they were closing it. At the top it literally says: "Your request has been solved."
So my question to the group is this: is Innovators Plus a scam? Has anyone else used it and have you been able to successfully claim your credits? I feel like there is a legitimate issue with my setup and would love to get to the bottom of it, but it also appears that Google is not ready, willing, or able to provide adequate support for this program. Would love to hear about others' experiences.
