Ordered a 5L bag & an 8L bag after already having a kids box and loving the materials. The images advertised for the lunch bags and description advertised both showing and describing an exterior fabric which after delivery is NOT FABRIC. The products that were delivered were more like a plastic-y exterior. This would be handy if you wanted to wipe the outside down, but also reminds me of the basic betty kids lunch boxes from Targ/WMart. I didnt pay $35+ for a Targ/WMart bag. This was by far false advertising. Reached out to C.Serv and was told the fabric outside is no longer offered and their website hasnt been updated, was offered to return. Please look at the comparison photos from Teresa H's review below. The shiny, plastic-y material is now what you will get. Disappointed in what was going to be an investment from Hydroflask.

After destroying several plastic water bottles, I bit the bullet and bought these for my family. It has been a great investment. We have travelled all over the country and Asia with these, and they are holding up so well. The do get scratched up, but that doesn't impact the water inside. You can easily keep water cold for hours in this. In Europe last winter, I filled my water bottle up in the morning before leaving for the day, and it literally stayed cold all day long. It was so great. The inside is stainless steel, and is mold/bacteria resistant, but not proof. I have had to soak it in lemon juice and bleach a couple of times to kill what was left in the bottom after a couple of days of letting water sit in it. If you use it a lot, which I do most of the time, that does not happen. Two accessories that make so much sense to add to these, which should come as standard are the rubber boot for the bottom, and the pop up top. These make this so much more versatile, and in the case of the boot, keeps it from crashing so hard and reverberating through time and space so that everyone looks at you. I saw a lady drop one at the airport, and I swear people looked like they were about ready to hit the deck it was so loud. Overall a great investment, and one that two years into it, has paid off handsomely.

My original Hydroflask lunch bag tore at the seam and this was sent as a replacement. Although it took some time, Hydroflask stands by their products.

The bag is a good size for what I need and my old one did a great job of keeping things cool. I loved the blue color of my old bag. I’m not a fan of black, especially since it sits in my car at times.
My biggest issue is I’m not a fan of the fabric. It has a coating compared to the old one. It reflects light off it differently which irritates my eyes.
Functionally the bag is fine but I haven’t been using it because of the feel and look.

I love Hydroflask insulated bottles! They insulate and keep my drinks cool for hours at a time! I regularly use my hydroflask to bring iced water to and from work to stay hydrated and every time I go to take a sip, I can hear my ice cubs bouncing around! My water stays cold for hours (6+ hours) and always tastes refreshing in these hot summer months! I have multiple colors bc they’re all so cute, I can never pick just one! I also love that they’re very sturdy and can withstand some rough and tumble which still keeping its integrity. I would highly recommend this bottle if you’re looking to keep your cold drinks cold!!
