What a waste of time and money. I used to rave about my yeti products, NEVER again. I'm a long term user and have what I call the OG totally stainless thermos design. Something has to have changed (mine first ones weight more than what they now advertise). Short version: 3 thermoses, side by side did NOT perform the same. The only one worth the money spent was one of the old school versions. The 2 new, colored ones are CRAP. I wasted money on two bigger ones, thinking I was buying the same product. I will never again recommend Yeti. All thermoses were chilled in the fridge over night and had the same drink mix. We opened the smaller one and life was good. We opened this one, and it literally BLEW UP. It got so warm it fermented!!!! Mind you, it was only out of the fridge for 90mins, and IT WAS ON A BLOCK OF YETI ICE. I also have a slightly larger one, same thing, spoiled. I don't buy crap food. Everything that goes in here is organic and made from scratch, so I was without my meal, both later that day and the next morning, in addition to looking & smelling like I'd been puked on.

It’s great. Easy to carry around. Solid handle on the lid that makes this bottle superior to others. Chug cap if fantastic as well. Tested the ice retention duration and the bottle holds ice just as long as $15 bottle. Of course at $65 I was expecting it to perform much better. Conclusion:
If you’re looking for a bottle to keep the water cold there is no advantage that Yeti bottle provides. Looking for an overall functionality Yeti is definitely better than all others that I have tried but also costs a lot more then all others

I'm bummed and surprised to be leaving this review. I fully expected this bottle to be superior to the many other insulated water bottles I've had over the years - not because it was more expensive, it wasn't. The price point was about the same. I thought it be better because it's a Yeti product. Unfortunately, I find the design to be poor. The bottle has both a screw-on lid and a screw-on chug spout. While I like that you can unscrew the chug spout giving you a wide mouth for filling with ice, if the spout isn't screwed on quite tightly enough, it will leak all over your chest when you drink OR it will also come off when you only want to unscrew the lid. Alternately, if you tighten it a little too much, it becomes really challenging to remove. Finally—and most importantly—the bottle just doesn't keep drinks all that cold, even when pre-cooled. Certainly no colder than any other insulated bottle I've used... and isn't that what Yeti is all about?

Absolutely love this bottle! I have the 36oz and 24oz version. They are so sturdy and well built, insulated and leak proof. Cleaning is incredibly easy unlike bottles with straws. The threads on the lid are external making it extremely easy to get into all of the places typically hard to clean on traditional water bottles. This has replaced all of my other water bottles and is here to stay. I am officially done jumping on the newest water bottle trend. They will not live up to this one.
