April 3, 2024Sent in my old Hydro Flask for a replacement one. Received the same color and size, but the latest version with the Flex Straw Cap. I think the caps are better than previous versions, but the straw tends to be looser and tends to pop out more. Overall, still love the Hydro Flask brand. My last one lasted 6-7 years and went through lots of drops and dents, as it lost its ability to maintain the ice cold drinks cold for long periods of time. I have the same one in multiple colors now, but very happy that Hydro Flask fulfilled my trade in.
Surprisingly Dissapointing

June 11, 2023This was my first hydro flask and will probably be my last. I screw the lid on night and it was leaking the first time I ever tested it. Now I have to dry the outer rim and screw it on a “special” way to stop it from leaking EXCEPT it leaks later on anyway and is incredibly inconsistent ??! Which is horrible because I got this to use everyday and throw in my work bag or backpack and I’ll have to find another brand. I found that it also sometimes has an air bubble or something trapped in the straw and sometimes so when you flip back the straw to take a sip, water surges up and hits you (and your coworker standing 4 feet away) in the face…It’s also horribly fragile, even with the boot I bought on there. Got a dent in the top from the smallest and slowest tip over on my desk. Really disappointed and I expected more from this price point. Cute color though.
Love it but…

August 30, 2024Great bottle - heavy, durable, finish stays on, haven’t seen a dent after some kid use…but the handle is a problem. 1 day in and one of the stainless steel fasteners came off and we kept trying to pop it back on. It was a frequent task but it finally is lost and so now we have flapping rubber handle that’s held on by one knob. It’s on there pretty tight so it’ll require surgery to remove. Maybe the connection can be part of the lid extrusion and the handle can be slipped on, so the handle is removable but you don’t lose the connection parts?! Just a suggestion.
Not what they used to be

November 29, 2023We have owned close to 10 hydros. They used to offer amazing service. Just sharpie and make it ugly, send the pics, get a replacement no charge. Now you have to go thru olympic hurdles, pay to ship it back, wait weeks with no response, and finally demand a replacement. None of this is necessary. And, that's why we switched to IronFlask which are 2-3x cheaper, great quality, and excellent customer service. This isn't the first issue with Hydro and warranties...in fact it's the 4th! It took 6 months to get a replacement last time! They mailed 3 to the wrong state even after THEY confirmed the mailing address! Meanwhile I had to buy a replacement so they literally threw me into the arms of the competitor before fixing the issue and someone else was getting free hydro's! They're just not worth the money or frustration and wasted time.
