Unfortunately the bottle began to rust on the outside within the first week of use. It seems the paint on the other bottles provides a protective coating that prevents rust which this one lacks. Also dropped it from 2 feet onto concrete and it dented enough to ruin the vacuum seal - however that’s technically my fault. They don’t sell a matching boot for this bottle so I went without. Bottle looks super cool, just not as practical as other hydro flask bottles.

Great products and customer service. New and improved lids are a must have! Have been able to warranty exchange multiple products. In this case I purchased outright… there’s no warranty for me losing one, haha. The Fossil color isn’t quite the orange I wanted, but I still like it. The plain Stainless Steel with the bright Green/Yellow is very nice! The Hydroflask emblem is already peeling tho after a couple weeks…

I received my Hydroflask as a Christmas gift yet I knew the whole time I would be getting it. Water cooler talk at work had us comparing insulated bottle brands and Hydroflask came up as a great but expensive buy. I kept asking what makes their bottle so expensive, hoping at least I would figure it out when I received mine, which I still have yet to figure out. Love the gift and person who gifted me but I can’t understand why a consumer would buy a product where you have to cut your straw to fit your bottle. Also in doing this my straw always falls out leaving me to fish it out every other day or so. I have a cheaper Walmart brand bottle that I rather use on the daily. This product is too expensive for these types of problems.

Hydro flask has always been my go to for many years but they must have changed manufacturer or something because my new bottle does not keep ice the way my old one does. I even replaced the new one I got because the water was warm and the bottle was sweating after a couple of hours. The new one was a little better but not much. In the end, I just went back to my old one that is beat up but works way better. Guess I’ll have to find a new go to bottle for the future. Sad because it was great but now it’s not.
