TL:DR; Best dang bottle you'll ever not need to replace. Well, unless you lose it. :(

March 7, 2023I grew up with one of these no more than 5 feet away on every camping, hunting, fishing, and ATVing trip we went on. It was in my dad's truck when I'd ride with him on longhauls, or chip runs, or while careening down a mountain in the PNW blasting on the CB as loud as we could with several tons of freshly loaded logs making sure that slowing down wasn't an option.
Coffee was always hot. Chowder always steaming. Even that one time Odell Lake froze over with us still on it.
I loved that green bottle. It was stoically unique with it's random dents, scratches, and DIY handle replacement made from a scrap of copper tubing.
At some point dad "upgraded" and gave me his old bottle and I took it on my own many adventures. But I also somehow, lost it somewhere down the line. Not sure where that little emerald icon of reverence disappeared.... was it left in Iraq in 03? Seattle? Did it find a cranny in dad's barn while I stored my stuff during my move to LA? or maybe it disappeared when I and six other souls toured across 6 states and 4 Canadian provinces in an old Dodge van as we tried our very best to keep up with Soulfly and Five Finger Death Punch's busses and nurse a busted rear differential, only to almost get stuck in a blizzard between Calgary and Edmonton... I don't know. but it lived a good life and was a more than solid companion over decades, generations, and many, many adventures.
At this moment, in the beginnings of a new adventure of mine, I think it's time I get a new one. A new ever present companion, faithfully at my side as I explore the back trails of the world on a 2-wheeled freedom machine. (Freedom in the adventure sense, not the political one) I'm thankful that the Stanley's made today, seem to be just as solid as my old, lost friend.

September 14, 2024I have broken 3 glass vacuum flasks and have tried 2 metal vacuum flasks that did not work (no heat retention) I heard about the Stanley and boy should have bought one years ago it would have saved me alot of money . Keeps my tea hot all day ps I love my cup of tea . I now make a second flask of tea when i get home from work so no waiting to boil kettle and tea is ready whenever I want. Also only need to boil the water once another money saver . It's a no brainer when you think of it and the Stanley also looks the part nice 😁 one
Stanley. Now my wife wants the biggest one to have boiling water at the ready all day.
Awesome thermos

November 16, 2024Really love this bottle. I have a 30 year old Stanley classic thermos that I use, but wanted something easier to carry in my backpack. This fits the bill perfectly. Lightweight and keeps my coffee piping hot during my commute to work. I will be using this new version for many years to come!
My classic thermos had a different stopper design, the new one works much better with no dripping after filling my mug.
Almost great, but tool required

October 20, 2023I love the thermos and it works well. I would love to put in dishwasher but I don't since it might mess with the coated finish. The only minor negative is the handle was not fully attached when I got it. Thank God I did not fill with hot liquid! The two metal attachment pins were not fully pressed into the two bracket sleeves of the thermos. Luckily I had the perfect size of slip-jaw pliers to be able to lock those in enough so they stayed attached. It did take some time and a non-DIY person might have difficulty. This one perfectly fits 10cups of coffee (that is the coffee carafe amt) not sure if it really is 10cups though.
