I’ve been through a ridiculous number of travel coffee mugs, which have all failed for one reason or another (not the least of which being they won’t fit under my Keurig brewer). This mug was a surprise. My FAVORITE aspect of the Hydroflask is the capability to dismantle the lid and THOROUGHLY clean the components. The mug adequately keeps my coffee hot (“ish”…I’m not someone who has to have it boiling at all times) and it’s a great size for my servings of two 6 ounce cups a day. I did have a slight mishap with leaking, but ascribe it to user error (tighten the lid! Lesson learned.). This arrived crazy quickly and am pleased with the purchase.

Hydro Flask thermoses are an excellent choice for keeping drinks at optimal temperature for a long period of time. This is due to their top-of-the-line material, as well as the variety of colors and designs. I've had the bad luck that other insulated bottles suffered dents and chipped paint, but wow Hydro Flask held up relatively well. The Hydro Flask was one of the most durable bottles we tested. We weren't afraid to knock it around and barely saw a scratch after 5 months of continuous use clearly taking good care of the bottle. This brand has different sizes and really beautiful designs.

My husband bought me the hydroflask 18oz water bottle, which came with the original lid. I knew I wanted the straw to make drinking easier, so I tried a different brand which leaked (especially on planes) and the mouth piece cracked, so it made noise when I drank through it. I went though 2 of those with the same results? So decided to try this one. First impression was a good one! Well made, for the physique of the bottle much better, and even had a similar finish - definitely looked like it fit. It has a smaller profile, which I didn’t mind, but I think my husband would have trouble using the hole at eh top to carry around the bottle. There has been no leaking, no cracking and no noise!! My only complaint is that it’s a little difficult to pull up the spout without just touching the tip of it and pulling up. The small lip that is made to pull it open and push it closed is better for closing - seems to be at the wrong angle for opening.
