It is a great water bottle! I love the color and the durability. I upgraded after 7 years from a grey plastic camelback (which I loved, an amazing water bottle that I used all throughout college and my first few years of corporate America). But this bottle is more expensive and clearly better. It feels more sturdy and keeps beverages at a good temperature for longer, I do not have to worry about it heating up the water whilst I am out and about on a hike or sitting in the car. This bottle is an investment, I also bought the top that closes the spout a bit to be a more normal plastic water bottle opening so all in all I spent about $60 or so. But honestly for something I use everyday and will have for years, I think it is worth the investment. Ignore the hype the bottle gets on social media bc it’s trendy and get this water bottle because it’s honestly amazing. I love how much water it holds too. I only have to fill it 3-4 times a day and I drink a LOT of water (I aim for ~4 liters a day). Cannot praise this thing enough

I bought this around black Friday as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. I wanted him to have a quality bottle and not a cheap piece of crap like he was using. The bottle worked good...for 3 months. Then the vacuum seal failed on the bottle and it would not keep water cold. Water also somehow got in between the walls of the bottle. I contacted HydroFlask for a return and had to pay almost $10 shipping to return the bottle to them. Then when they sent me a replacement, it did not come with a straw lid like the one I had purchased. I don't think I will purchase from HydroFlask again. Had they covered my return shipping, I probably would have felt differently. But HydroFlask is expensive. And I didn't enjoy paying $10 more after only 3 months of use. I could have gotten a lot of stainless steel bottles at Costco for what I invested in this one bottle. I probably won't buy another HydroFlask. As a side note: I filled out the "How Did We Do" survey that they sent me after the return. They never even responded back to me when they heard I was unhappy.

For a long time I wanted to find a non-insulated stainless steel bottle. Non-insulated because I didn’t want the extra weight of the double wall, and stainless steel to avoid microplastics. Surprisingly, this was hard to find. But then I discovered the trail series from Hydroflask, and it was light enough with the added bonus of being insulated! Really impressed with the bottle. It’s just a such a simple and elegant design. I was initially concerned with not being able to to put it in the dishwasher, but the lack of little ledges and catches really makes that a non issue. It’s easy to clean, has a great form factor, and lightweight. It’s everything I knew I wanted and even some of what I didn’t know I wanted. Absolutely love it!

I have become the Goldilocks of water flasks. I started out out with swell which I like but it’s only 20oz. I’m a stew and that’s not enough water for a layover. Plus is you can use it in your purse cause it’s not heavy. Then I upgraded to a Stanley w/ I like but hard to travel with. This has become my home water bottle. At night I don’t way my boyfriend unscrewing a water bottle because of the straw but I’m not a huge straws because of the lines around your mouth that is can cause ( vain I know) I do like it fits in my car cup holder as well as the swell but this is 40 oz which I live. So now that I’m going back work after and injury I opted for the Hydroflask thing it has a handle on top, holds 40 oz . But will not fit in a car cup holder and it’s heavy when filled. 3 flasks and still can find one w/ all these attributes in one flask!! Oh and the Hydro Flask pours water all over me !! I won’t give up and I am happy w/ purchase because it will serve a it purpose.
