So Sad
ThoseEyesˇ Review provided by REI ˇ February 5, 2025
I recently bought a new espresso machine. At first I was all about using glass mugs to enjoy the visuals, but they didn't keep my drinks warm enough/long enough. Then I shopped for insulated ones, and bought a 14oz mug that did the job. But then I wanted something larger, for drinks like a London Fog or Dirty Chai latte. I've loved HydroFlask for years, so when I found this 24oz one (it's the only one I found that can be angled to fit under my brew head), I ordered it. It seemed on the heavy side when it arrived, but I told myself that I wasn't planning on going anywhere with it, that I'd only be using it at home. I just made a London Fog, The size was great. So far. my drink is hot. But that brings me to the "so sad" part. It's just too heavy. Yes, I can lift it, and drink from it, but I feel it in my wrist/hand and can't see myself using it with any regularity. Regretfully, it's going to have to be returned.
Comparing this one to Yeti
amelia29ˇ Review provided by REI ˇ October 7, 2024
I was trying to decide between Hydro Flask and Yeti for a 12ish oz mug with a handle (a classic debacle) and after doing some research I will say I was initially hoping to get the Yeti -- but when I saw them in person it was clear the Yeti wouldn't fit in my car's cup holder (it has a noticeably wider circumference). The Yeti is definitely heavier and feels sturdier, and TBH the seal **seems** more reliable -- but I'm confident the Hydro Flask will do just fine. I know there's various studies about exactly how long the liquid can stay cool or hot -- but for me personally, just having something warm for like one hour for a road trip or camping is just fine! The rounded handle on the Hydro Flask does seem more comfortable for me than the Yeti's square one. If you similarly don't need to worry too much about duration of temperature, I think the size and weight will be the main considerations.
[Incentivized Review] Zero insulation Hydro Flask Cups
Jeonghee E.ˇ Review provided by hydroflask.com ˇ August 29, 2024
I make my coffee just before I leave my home for work, but my coffee is already lukewarm when I get to my work. It will take around 25-30 minutes from my home to work. I bought two cups, and both of them have terrible insulation. I think they are not different from regular mug cup. I thought about the return them right after I had my first coffee at home. However, I already opened and used the both of them, so I decided to think I bought two expensive light weights mugs. I wasted my $40. I should buy a Yetti cup. I highly unrecomend the Hydro Flask cups. For the record, I bought a 24oz Eggplant and a 12oz Bark cups last week.
[Incentivized Review] Excellent Products- Well Made and Beautiful
Mindi R.ˇ Review provided by hydroflask.com ˇ October 22, 2024
Hydro Flask is a great product. It keeps my hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for many hours. I use Hydro Flask for hiking and to bring my tea to work. The 24 oz flask is slim and fits easily in my car’s cup holder and in my hand. The different covers are well-made and fit all wide mouth flasks, so I can interchange them. I can also put them in the dishwasher without the covers or flasks losing integrity.

I finally discovered the mug, which is great since I often don’t finish my cup of tea for a few hours. Now, I don’t need to keep reheating it! And the color is beautiful.
