We replaced a 12 oz kids water bottle (by another popular stainless steel beverage container brand) with this 18 oz one as my kiddo asked for more capacity in the water bottle she takes to school daily. We like that this one is bigger yet lighter, thinner so it fits better in cup holders, has the straw lid for easy sipping at school, and comes with the rubbery boot on the bottom. Dishwasher safe was also a must, and her water is staying cold for crazy long periods of time in our perpetually hot FL area. Personalization with full name has been great since there’s more than one child in her grade w her first name. The anemone color combo is pretty. This is now my go to gift for other kids as well (we did grass w block letters and goji w script letters for recent birthday gifts). Only critique is that I wish it had a bigger handle and that the straw went inside of the circular connecting piece in the lid and not around it. Our last water bottle had the former and the straw never stretched out or needed replacing despite years of use but this set up looks like it may stretch the straw over time. But at least 2 straws were provided with the bottle, so that may be enough.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old grandson to use when he comes over. It’s the perfect size and I love the bright color. The straw is very easy for him to use. It’s also easy to wash. I wash it by hand, though it’s supposed to be dishwasher safe. I’ve had issues with other brands of water bottles with the finish being ruined in the dishwasher, so would rather not take the chance. The only negative is the price, it’s a bit high for a small water bottle; but I’m partial to Hydro Flask.

The advantage of the bottle is that it retains heat for a long time because of the 2-layer vacuum design, so the ambient temperature does not affect the quality of the drink inside the bottle. The lower body of the bottle is designed with an extra layer of silicone surrounding it for easy handling to prevent it from falling; very suitable for kids. In addition, the bottle is also designed with a straw for convenient drinking of children without having to open the lid. The lid closes tightly to prevent water leakage when placed horizontally or fallen. Cleaning the water bottle after use is also very easy. It's very convenient so my son and I love it!

I have purchased 4 of these to date. We accidentally left one at a hotel, and the other we have had for years and it's still working wonderfully. The other two we bought had some issues with the straw/lid (probably because my toddler son is really rough with his stuff). Customer support did a wonderful job rectifying the problem. Thank you! I also have to say that these things really insulate well. When my daughter was a year old she loved to have milk at all times. We went on a long trip and had a separate hydro flask for her just to keep her milk cold. We filled it with milk and ice in the morning, and it kept the milk cold ALL DAY. Now that my daughter has outgrown the milk phase, I still use it for milk for my coffee if I am camping. Truly great insulation.
