I bought this item because a lot of friends I have who are active tend to bring these flasks with them wherever they go... And I can say I now understand why.

It is very lightweight, even if you have ice in the bottle and it's completely full. I took this flask with me when I went on an hour and a half hike (a very hot and humid day), and I barely noticed I was carrying it. The straw was very convenient and made it easy to drink as much as I needed without getting cold sensitivity on my teeth. I was a little worried about the strap being fragile, but it handled being swung around and I had no fear of it breaking on me.

I love the color blue, and I liked the subtle look of the Matcha Ombre. The color is not as saturated as it is in the photos, but it is 99% close. I am a big fan of the color and the little bit of green mixed with it.

Now, as for the thermal capability... I only plan on using these bottles for cold drinks. I filled the flask with ice about halfway. The ice lasted throughout the entire hike, and when I got back home I still had a good amount to put into another cup to re-use. HydroFlask is definitely one of the best I've used for keeping drinks cold for hours on end.

Inside the box, there were instructions for taking apart the cap (which includes the straw and a red rubber piece to help keep the straw in place) and how to clean it properly. I appreciated this as I've never owned a HydroFlask product until now. It was easy to put it back together after cleaning.

I bought this item specifically for short walks and hikes, and I have full confidence it will perform exactly as I need it to. I definitely feel like I've got my money's worth out of the item, and I look forward to being able to use it more in the future! If you are on the fence about buying this item, I'd say you won't regret it.

I have developed a strange, unspoken agreement with the hospital gods.
In September 2024, I took my son to the children’s hospital for suicidal ideations. He was kept overnight and admitted to the psych floor the next day. Somewhere between entering the hospital and saying goodbye, my Hydroflask disappeared. It had belonged to my late brother and disappeared on the anniversary of his death.

Hydro Flask is simply top tier. Head of the curve. Even better performance than what they advertise at times. I've had mine for about 6 years and performance has not dipped. Hot beverage stays hot all day and is still warm the next day. Same with cold beverages. It just does what it's supposed. I've become a loyal Hydro Flask supporter just from one purchase. When anyone asks about getting a bottle, I immediately say Hydro Flask. Special edition cups, and the variety of sizes from 12 to 42 oz is a beautiful treat. Next thing is that my bottle never leaks, the seal is consistent even with all the bruises I've afflicted to mine. Caps are interchangeable from wide mouth to the others in most cases. I must say that you'll probably need a tool to reach inside the bottle to clean stains if you drink stainy liquids and don't clean immediately. 10/10 recommend.

I bought this to carry it outside the house when running errands and for hikes and road trips. It fits perfectly in the cup holder which is a plus point for me. It’s dishwasher safe and so easy to clean with hand as well what else I can ask for I love it and have three of them as my whole family loves to drink their water from hydro flask and it’s healthy.
