March 12, 2024While working, it sometimes takes me a half hour or longer to consume a cup of coffee. During that time, the contents of my ceramic cup would cool and I would reheat the contents periodically in the microwave. Unfortunately, the reheating adversely affected the quality of the coffee. In order to solve for that problem I considered both and insulated cup and a heated cup but opted for the less expensive solution and purchased 2 of the 12 oz coffee cups, one each for my wife and I, to replace our 14oz ceramic cups. While we would have liked to have larger cups, this product worked well, maintaining the temperature sufficiently to avoid the need to reheat the contents. We learned that if you brewed tea with near boiling water, the cup will retain the high temperature for some time and you may need to leave the lid off off of the cup to all the contents to cool sufficiently.

August 29, 2024I make my coffee just before I leave my home for work, but my coffee is already lukewarm when I get to my work. It will take around 25-30 minutes from my home to work. I bought two cups, and both of them have terrible insulation. I think they are not different from regular mug cup. I thought about the return them right after I had my first coffee at home. However, I already opened and used the both of them, so I decided to think I bought two expensive light weights mugs. I wasted my $40. I should buy a Yetti cup. I highly unrecomend the Hydro Flask cups. For the record, I bought a 24oz Eggplant and a 12oz Bark cups last week.

January 3, 2024Bought two of the 6 oz mugs for our two kids. Our kids LOVE them, they’re the perfect size for little hands. I wanted small cocoa/tea mugs that were easy to handle, little to no plastic and had lids to minimize spills. The size was perfect, the inside of the mug is stainless and the slider on the lid works great. Unfortunately, the outside of the mug is a soft touch plastic and we’re already noticing issues. My daughter’s mug is light in color and stained yellow after it came in contact with a dirty dish that had curry on it. The staining is only now coming out after several washes. The mugs are handwash only which is likely from the outside plastic being glued to the stainless liner and tonight I noticed water seeping between the two when I washed it. Overall the mug checks some great boxes but, would definitely be improved by an all metal design which would eliminate some issues.

August 3, 2024Less than ideal (online) purchase experience. Had I of known it would take a month and multiple correspondences with customer service (who was great btw) to fulfill the order (something weird on their end - they had to cancel and resubmit it), I probably would have just gone to a store to buy a new one.
I accidentally ran over my last hydroflask mug while camping… drinking coffee out of a glass for a month was weird.
As far as the actual coffee mug goes, it’s good. Cool purple color. A little bigger than I anticipated, but no complaints.
4 stars for the Mug, 1 star for the purchase experience, 2 stars overall.
