It is a great water bottle! I love the color and the durability. I upgraded after 7 years from a grey plastic camelback (which I loved, an amazing water bottle that I used all throughout college and my first few years of corporate America). But this bottle is more expensive and clearly better. It feels more sturdy and keeps beverages at a good temperature for longer, I do not have to worry about it heating up the water whilst I am out and about on a hike or sitting in the car. This bottle is an investment, I also bought the top that closes the spout a bit to be a more normal plastic water bottle opening so all in all I spent about $60 or so. But honestly for something I use everyday and will have for years, I think it is worth the investment. Ignore the hype the bottle gets on social media bc it’s trendy and get this water bottle because it’s honestly amazing. I love how much water it holds too. I only have to fill it 3-4 times a day and I drink a LOT of water (I aim for ~4 liters a day). Cannot praise this thing enough

I love this bottle! I am field sales and spend my day in the car driving long distances. After learning how much water I should be consuming I bought one of these for the volume. It fits one of my cup holders in the car which turns out is pretty important for what I need. I add electrolytes, magnesium and creatine and no issues with interior degradation. Its lightweight for the size so easier to carry to the car and maneuver when driving. I added the twist top (which I also love because it fully disassembles for cleaning) which is important because the water runs fast towards you and I was dousing myself on a regular. I'm seriously considering a second one to replace another Hydroflask that doesn't fit the cup holder and is more of a hassle to manage when driving. There is no boot option but thats ok for me and if you were to stuff it in a sack for hiking you'd regret having a sticky boot.

Quality:developed stain/rust on the inner surface in just a week’s use

BE AWARE OF PROMO ITEMS. my order was delivered just this 04/21/25. lately, i noticed stains/rust on the inner surface. i reached out to shopee hydroflask and was told to bring unit with receipt to any hydroflask branch. i just went there minutes ago and learned they received memo not to accept returns like due to stains/rust. some units may be on promo due to factory defect. i reached out to shopee hydroflask and was told they will not accept returns and replacement due to stains/rust. but how would i know this when i checked unit before using it didn’t have any stains/rust yet. however it appeared overtime as i started to use the unit. it wasn’t due to any mishandling on my end. now shopee hydroflask is saying stain/rust isn’t part of their warranty. this had a special promo of 1,400 plus while other colors of the same size 40 oz didn’t have any promo. has anyone tried this before?

For a long time I wanted to find a non-insulated stainless steel bottle. Non-insulated because I didn’t want the extra weight of the double wall, and stainless steel to avoid microplastics. Surprisingly, this was hard to find. But then I discovered the trail series from Hydroflask, and it was light enough with the added bonus of being insulated! Really impressed with the bottle. It’s just a such a simple and elegant design. I was initially concerned with not being able to to put it in the dishwasher, but the lack of little ledges and catches really makes that a non issue. It’s easy to clean, has a great form factor, and lightweight. It’s everything I knew I wanted and even some of what I didn’t know I wanted. Absolutely love it!
