Bought two of the 6 oz mugs for our two kids. Our kids LOVE them, they’re the perfect size for little hands. I wanted small cocoa/tea mugs that were easy to handle, little to no plastic and had lids to minimize spills. The size was perfect, the inside of the mug is stainless and the slider on the lid works great. Unfortunately, the outside of the mug is a soft touch plastic and we’re already noticing issues. My daughter’s mug is light in color and stained yellow after it came in contact with a dirty dish that had curry on it. The staining is only now coming out after several washes. The mugs are handwash only which is likely from the outside plastic being glued to the stainless liner and tonight I noticed water seeping between the two when I washed it. Overall the mug checks some great boxes but, would definitely be improved by an all metal design which would eliminate some issues.

This cup is so perfect for me. The size is exactly what I want in a coffee cup. The construction of this item is so well made - it is sturdy and comfortable to use. I put ice into it, put the lid on and waited to see how long it would take to melt (also had some water in it {to try that out too). After 3 hours there was still some pieces of ice and the water was cold. I then made a cup of coffee (black) and put the lid on it to see how long it would stay hot. I could not drink it for the first hour as it was too hot (but that was part of my testing it). After 2 hours it was still hot but not as much so I could drink it. It stayed warm until I finished (I take awhile to drink coffee). What impressed me more than the insulation was the fact that with either cold or hot beverages the cup itself never felt cold or hot to the touch. Usually a coffee cup is hot to the touch with hot beverages but this cup stayed cool to the touch which makes it so much easier to drink from. I love this cup and am so happy I have it for future breakfast coffee.

This mug is so great! It keeps hot beverages very hot and cold beverages very cold for a long time! I usually have to reheat my coffee because it gets cold so quickly, but with this Hydro Flask mug I have not had to do that. It would also be the perfect mug for an expresso! I used it to take orange juice to work the other day and it stayed very cold. I will be using it to bring soup to work in the winter and I know it will stay nice and warm till I eat it at lunchtime. I also love the lid design! I like that the opening on the lid closes for when I am traveling with this mug or when I have it next to my computer. This will keep it from spilling as quickly if it gets knocked over. Also, the small lip on the lid makes it very easy to open and take off to clean and refill. I highly recommend this Hydro Flask mug! It would make a great gift for family and friends this upcoming holiday season!

I love HydroFlask products and own several of them; however, the 6oz mug is just way too small to be practical. I wanted a small cup for my morning tea, but was astonished at just how little fluid this cup holds. HydroFlask should make an 8oz or 10oz size-- that would be the ideal small mug. This mug is only good for a couple espresso shots, and those are usually drunk fast enough that you don't need an insulated mug! I will be returning the 6 oz mug.
