I bought this item because a lot of friends I have who are active tend to bring these flasks with them wherever they go... And I can say I now understand why.

It is very lightweight, even if you have ice in the bottle and it's completely full. I took this flask with me when I went on an hour and a half hike (a very hot and humid day), and I barely noticed I was carrying it. The straw was very convenient and made it easy to drink as much as I needed without getting cold sensitivity on my teeth. I was a little worried about the strap being fragile, but it handled being swung around and I had no fear of it breaking on me.

I love the color blue, and I liked the subtle look of the Matcha Ombre. The color is not as saturated as it is in the photos, but it is 99% close. I am a big fan of the color and the little bit of green mixed with it.

Now, as for the thermal capability... I only plan on using these bottles for cold drinks. I filled the flask with ice about halfway. The ice lasted throughout the entire hike, and when I got back home I still had a good amount to put into another cup to re-use. HydroFlask is definitely one of the best I've used for keeping drinks cold for hours on end.

Inside the box, there were instructions for taking apart the cap (which includes the straw and a red rubber piece to help keep the straw in place) and how to clean it properly. I appreciated this as I've never owned a HydroFlask product until now. It was easy to put it back together after cleaning.

I bought this item specifically for short walks and hikes, and I have full confidence it will perform exactly as I need it to. I definitely feel like I've got my money's worth out of the item, and I look forward to being able to use it more in the future! If you are on the fence about buying this item, I'd say you won't regret it.

It is the perfect size to contain an ample amount of either hot or cold beverages, and a Small Tag Along Bottle Sling is also available for portable convenience. I’m especially impressed by its ability to keep cold drinks icy cold and hot drinks piping hot, while being lightweight, yet very durable. The lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects seems unnecessary since the construction and design appear to be extremely long-lasting. I’ve already carried it along for both hiking and biking, and it can fit into a vehicle cup holder for easy transport as well. The superior quality of its easy grip, sweat-free coating and pro-grade stainless steel are exceptional, plus I really like the sleek style and bright color! It is simple to drink from and easy to clean by hand, although it is surprisingly dishwasher-safe. Now that I’ve been using it for both cold water and hot coffee, I completely understand why the bottle is a best-seller! I would definitely recommend this product, and it has instantly become my new personal favorite

We got this small 24oz size insulated water bottle to replace a well-known competing brand that held ice "forever", but the old one was awkward and too big. I had read several reviews (outside of Bean) that said this one leaked. That would be a big problem for us, since we carry this inside our saddle-bags on long motorcycle rides. Yippee...used it for a week in the desert this Summer, bouncing around in the bike for 1400 miles. No drips and plenty of cold water. And, I was skeptical of the 'Flex Straw' deal, but it was fantastically easy to use rather than unscrewing the whole top while standing beside the road!

Highly recommend any hydro flask bottles/ mugs item to everyone! Have used HF products for over 12 years now, have been lucky enough to not have to purchase a ton because I guard my water bottles and mugs w/ my life lol & they are extremely durable. Now my kids have them and I love to gift them--because it's such a great product. EVERYONE MUST OWN AT LEAST ONE! Full Disclosure, we are fans of Yeti mugs as well BUT Hydro Flask mugs hold heat / cold wayyyyy longer so they are favored in our household. PS I NEVER write reviews but this is one of my fav everyday products and I can't say enough about it!
