[Rewarded Review] Poor quality
Disappointed customer· Review provided by Academy Sports + Outdoors · October 3, 2024
We bought this for our daughter for her birthday. She studied many brands of “expensive” water bottles and chose hydro flask. One week of school it slipped out of side pocket of back pack (in the school) and has two very large dents. I have never spent this much money on a water bottle for myself nor anyone else, but this is what she wanted for her birthday. A $45 water bottle should not sustain large dents with one drop, especially indoors. . I contacted hydro flask with situation. They offered for me to send the water bottle back (I pay shipping) and they would send us a $5 coupon to buy another one. What a joke! I will never buy another hydro flask. Do not recommend! Poor quality! DO NOT BUY! Waste of money
Worst water bottle on the market
JoJo1020· Review provided by dickssportinggoods.com · May 18, 2024
I don’t get the hype at all. I know these are supposed to be one of the best on the market but I don’t think I have ever bought a product I have disliked more than this thing especially for the price. I had a Takeya for years but lost it so I wanted to give this brand a try. What a mistake. It constantly leaks behind the spout at the top after taking a drink the first day I bought it (see photo of all the AZ hard water build up where it leaked constantly after only a couple months of use). It also makes a slurping sound if the straw isn’t in the absolutely perfect place when using ice. It’s not easy to screw on the top or open it and I’m not a small guy. There are far superior water bottles out there for the money. The absolute worst.
[Rewarded Review] The flip straw top spits out water….
Cath· Review provided by Academy Sports + Outdoors · June 18, 2023
I just bought this and used it for the first time at the gym. I dish washed this before the first use and I secured the straw back on. I filled it up with water to use at the gym. When I flipped the spout up with my thumb numerous times at the gym, the spout spat out little water splashes in my face. This was while the thermos had mostly a full thermos of water. Not until I drank 1/4 of the water did the spitting from the spout stop. I opened the lid of the thermos to make sure the straw was still secured on. It was secured the whole time! I filled my thermos up a 2nd time and it did the spitting in face again every time I opened the spout to drink water! Another thing I want to point out is that this holds 30 ounces of room temperature water, not 32 ounces.

Looks like I am going to buy again a Stanley 30 ounce flip top lid thermos that also has a straw. I lost the Stanley and that is why I decided to buy this hydro flask one but the Stanley is better because the spout does not spit out water when I flip up the spout.
[Rewarded Review] Love the water bottle

Purchased the white one for use at school for kid. Was told its lead free. Keeps water cold for sure. No leaks. Would definitely reccomend to others. Only complaint was the way it was packaged as online order. It shipped with 2 other water bottles(which where blue) and ended up getting blue scuffs on it since it wasn't individually wrapped or protected. Also came in a thin mailer so I would recommend purchase in store so no scuffs or possible dents happen from poor packaging.
