My partner and I both have hydro flask bottles, now 4 between the two of us. I purchased this specific newer model for him for Christmas this year so he could have a cup holder compatible bottle with a chug top instead of a straw.

It seems this may be a lower quality or thinner steel than some of the other products in their product line. My partner dropped his today as he reached toward the trunk of our car - so maybe a 3ft drop, and the bottle is severely dented on the top, scratched on the bottom, and rocks slightly when set down. My case-free iPhone has survived worse drops than this was. It’s unfortunate - we really love this company and have several other bottles - and have certainly dropped them repeatedly without the kind of damage this one has now. It seems perhaps a defect with this specific bottle design.

These products are marketed to be “created for a world of adventures,” but the “durable” steel of this new bottle dented like cardboard on the sidewalk outside our home.

Stay away. Get one of the bigger, more durable bottles, and buy yourself a cupholder insert to make it compatible that way instead.

I recently got the Hydro Flask 32 oz Goji with Wide Flex Chug Cap.

The container is stylish, solidly built, easy to clean, and big. We have a number of Hydro Flasks in our family and use them for sports, outdoor activities, work, and life in general. This Hydro Flask went to my wife (a second grade teacher who is active with her kiddos, talks the majority of the day, and needs to stay hydrated). She loves the Hydro Flask as it keeps her cold water super cold. And the way in which the flask is constructed stops it from “sweating” and making the flask slippery or leaking. She loves the bright red color and how easy it is to sip from the spout on the well constructed Wide Flex Chug Cap. And, the wide mouth makes it easy to put ice cubes in the hydro flask in the morning. The only “complaint” she had was that the container doesn’t fit in her vehicle’s oversized drink holders. But, she noted that’s a small price to pay for such a high-performing container.

There isn’t much else to say. While five star ratings are reserved for products that go beyond what the manufacturer says a product will do, the Hydro Flask 32 oz Goji with Wide Flex Chug Cap is a solid four-star purchase in our book as it does exactly what it should and delivers where it counts. Pick one up. You won’t regret it.

I absolutely love this Hydro flask 24oz bottle. The color is everything. This deep dark blue is stunning and looks great with the black lid & silver stainless. I really like that this bottle fits perfectly in my cup holder in my car. Most water bottles are to big or to small. This bottle is made of stainless steel that is easy to clean and will hold up long term. The material also is great because it doesn’t get messed up as easy or break if you drop it. This jug keeps my water ice cold and my coffee or hot chocolate super hot. I have filled this just up with ice and in the morning before my sons game. I drink all the water before the ice hardly melted. 5 hours later the ice looks like it barley melted. This water bottle is absolutely amazing. If you haven’t tried hydro flask you are missing out. I really like the chug jug lid with a nice handle. The angle make the jug easy to carry and you can attach it to a book bag for your kids to carry it to school. The chug cap is great because you are able to remove just the cap to put more ice or more liquids in the bottle with out unscrewing the entire lid. The lid makes it easy to chug your drink or pour it into a cup. The lid makes it easy to pour some of the liquids out without them splashing all over the place. I made soup for my son to warm up at half time. The soup was still very hot and he was able to take the lid off and eat it right from the bottle. This is our second hydro flask products and I am obsessed with their products. I highly recommend this chug jug you will love it.

I purchase this bottle last year for my high school athlete son . He likes that the month of the bottle is not to big to spill all over but wide enought to chug. It is good size too to last few hours. I like that it is easy to clean. For this year, I customized them (very easy process) for my nieces in same age group for Christmas. One of them opened it over the weekend for early Chsritmas present -- she loves the customized etching design with her name to personalize. Perfect gift idea since everyone needs to drink somthing. !
