Bought one of these last year on sale and lost in by the end of the month. Repurchased seeing my favorite color, Lilac as an option, and while I'm glad to have my cup back, the lid is difficult to fully push in. I don't remember having so much trouble getting the lid flush with the lip of the cup, I basically have to push my weight into it and hold it before it's secure. It doesn't leak because of this, but it's annoying to take that first sip, feel that gap, and then have a small dribble disappear under the lid. And so far I've had no issues getting the straw lid on. Overall, this is the perfect size for a stroll, or in a car, and temp control is amazing.

PROS: Well made. Holds a gallon of water (hard to find many of these). Had a wide mouth (easier for cleaning). Non-plastic (we wanted a gallon that was stainless steel for durability/better temp control)

CONS: It is ridiculously heavy. Not practical for taking to workouts, road trips etc. Since we can't return it, we will sell it or donate it. It's too impractical to use. If you were using it to simply hold backup water but didn't need to drink water out of it continuously, the weight wouldn't be an issue.

I have been a proud Hydroflask customer since 2019. Like my 32 oz water bottle, this tumbler is made for keeping cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot! The little boot/sleeve I purchased with it has already come in handy after a few drops, which is invaluable as a mother of a rambunctious toddler. The lid does leak a little if it somehow ends up upside down or sideways while closed, but not enough to bother me. One last note—this says it holds 16 oz, but I have found it holds closer to 12 oz when filled to the top with room for the lid. It’s the perfect size for my chai lattes, but I do still prefer a larger tumbler when I want a 16 oz coffee on the go.

One of the cups I ordered doesn’t function correctly. The lid pops off of my 16oz coffee cup. Nothing appears damaged but the lid just won’t stay on. I contacted customer service and it’s like jumping through hoops getting a new cup. I have to make a warranty claim? I received it damaged it should just be an easy exchange but it’s been back and forth emails. Really? I have several Hrdroflask cups and they are great. I just expected more from customer service. I still am in the process of getting a replace and it’s been 2 weeks.
