May 17, 2024This design is extremely thoughtful! At first, you might think it's a little overkill, but it's genuinely very helpful in solving the everyday problems of a stainless steel water bottle. I've used many types of water bottles over the years, and cleaning is usually the most difficult part with a small bottleneck. For that reason, I usually have to stick to just water inside (no little bit of juice or fruit) to avoid mold inevitably growing. But, this design makes it so easy to clean and be sure that there isn't any mold growing, since the threading is also an easier size to clean. Since I only tend to use stainless steel, I really love this feature. Due to the opening design, the mouthpiece can be narrower and that's much easier to drink out of than larger openings.
But, this is also the first bottle in years that I can actually fit under the water and ice spouts of our water fountains at work! This is a huge win for me - no weird angling, having to awkwardly use my hand to funnel the ice into the bottleneck, or using the water stream to slowly melt too-large ice cubes until they can pass through.
I love that it holds so much water, but still fits into my cup holder in my car. It truly is leakproof and I can throw it in my gym bag as well. I don't have to worry about it spilling if it gets knocked over on the gym floor. It also keeps ice frozen throughout my entire work day.
Aesthetically, the light pink color is beautiful! I do prefer the brushed/matte finish over the glossy though, as glossy finishes tend to scuff a little faster in my experience. So the only constructive feedback I'd say is to offer a fully brushed version!
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this water bottle. I was so excited to find out I was getting a Stanley product and it did not disappoint!
Surprised by how a few small features made a big difference

May 17, 2024As a life long, card-carrying member of the reusable water bottle club, I've gone through and used my share of water bottles: plastic and stainless steel, pop tops and screw tops, wide mouth and slim. I really did not expect to be wowed by this bottle. I don't really care what brand things are as long as they work, so being a Stanley did nothing to assuage my skepticism. But after using this continually for a few weeks I have to say it's the nicest water bottle I own, has been extremely durable, and has surprised me with it's ease of use.
I did not think I would care much about how the body of the bottle can screw apart since I don't actually like super cold water and never use ice. HOWEVER I do live in Texas and don't appreciate my water turning to molten hot lava if I leave it the car for ten minutes, so insulation is an important factor to me in that sense, and this bottle held up nicely, keeping my water at a cool temp. The thing for me that was so nice about having the body of this bottle screw apart was the ease of cleaning. I love a good screw top bottle, but often it begins to taste swampy after awhile because I can't seem to get it clean enough. This one I unscrew, put the three parts in the dishwasher, and never need to think about if a bottle brush will fit through the neck. That brings me to the other thing I love about this bottle: the slim neck and small mouth. Most screw top bottles can't have this petite of a mouth and neck in order to accommodate cleaning, and so they end up having a mouth that is slightly too big and the water sloshes out around your mouth as you drink. This spout has an ergonomic curve that fits your lips as you drink, and it's small enough that I could take a drink while driving down a bumpy road without getting water running down my neck. Miraculous! This little mouth would make filling the bottle a pain if it didn't have the secondary opening. But opening it at the shoulder to fill instead of at the top is a game changer. I took this bottle to a waterpark and filled it at one of those bottle refill stations that activates via sensor. It was so much easier to get the bottle in front of the sensor and aim the water into the vessel at the same time with the wide opening. The only sort of funny thing to happen with this bottle was at said waterpark where an attendant wanted to check it--he thought it was some sort of fancy alcohol bottle. But as soon as he saw the brand he waived me on. Made me chuckle.
Overall, this bottle is great. Neither seam leaks. It's easy to fill. It's a dream to clean. It's a pleasure to drink from. 10/10!
I was given this water bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

April 27, 2024At first I was so excited about this water bottle. I only drink water out of my quenchers, but also drink a liquid IV daily and was using other random water bottles for that. I was thrilled I could easily fill it with ice and my liquid IV powder and take it wherever!
I got the bottle in and it was ok. I tried it out for the first time and filled it with the water, ice, and powder, screwed on the top, and started to shake it to mix every up (pro, the water bottle seals really well so it didn't leak whenever I was shaking it to mix in the powder). The first thing I noticed was that the top is NOT insulated. Just from ice water, the top part of my bottle was freezing - it was pretty much too cold to touch bc it almost hurt it was so cold. When I got to work that day I went into my coworkers office and was like "here hold my water bottle" and she grabbed and I was like "ok, now hold it from the top" and she instantly moved her hand it was that cold. I've done this with multiple people and they've all been shocked on how cold it is. The bottom isn't like that, but it's a large water bottle so when I drink out of it, I typically hold around the middle to top and it's awful bc it hurts my hand.
Following this, the top part sweats pretty badly bc it's not well insulated. I've had to start using a coaster with it, which drives me nuts because I don't have to with my quencher - as I mentioned, I always have the two.
Finally, it's not like my other Stanley's in terms of quality. It's already scratching and the color is coming off and I've had it like 2 weeks. It's starting to look worn and I feel like I just bought it.
Overall, if they fixed the quality in both the color and insulation, it'd be a great water bottle. Unfortunately, these two things are such big factors that I'm only giving it 2 stars. Aside from the negatives, I do like the design and it seals well. Personally, I wouldn't buy this water bottle, especially when there's better and cheaper options out there. I'm super disappointed because I thought it'd be just like my quencher, just a different design, but that's not at all the case.
Extremely impressed with innovative design

May 17, 2024I drink water—a LOT of water. Consequently, I’m also pretty darn picky with my water bottles. I’ve been through many, many styles, designs, and functionalities. I can honestly say this is my new favorite water bottle, which I received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I’ve always been nervous about metal bottles (I don’t like a metallic taste), but water is SO GOOD and crisp from this bottle! There’s no metallic taste at all.
Because of the awesome design with the second bottle opening, it’s super easy to add ice or thoroughly clean the bottle interior. I love the small spout at the top for drinking from. And my water stays COLD. Even if I don’t put in ice (and just add very cold water), my water is still cold hours later! I’m currently pregnant and ice-cold water is what’s staving off my morning sickness, so long-lasting cold water is an excellent perk! I am also a full time teacher, and I don’t have time to run and grab more water (and definitely not ice water)—I appreciate the large volume the bottle holds, too.
I also haven’t had any problems at ALL with leaks or spills—and I’ve managed to spill (or have leaks) from every other kind of water bottle I’ve used. That’s a definite win for me!
For me, the only drawback is that it’s not my favorite looking bottle (totally not a priority for me, as all the other benefits far outweigh this small detail)—though my high school students have all complimented my bottle! I also prefer my bottles to have a handle for carrying, too; since this one doesn’t, I just keep it at work and I’m thrilled. Though I do appreciate that it’s narrow enough to fit in my car’s cup holder if I do take it in the car!
Overall, I highly recommend this bottle.
