[Incentivized Review] Cute, Lightweight, & Portable
Maria B.· Review provided by hydroflask.com · July 29, 2024
I bought this item because a lot of friends I have who are active tend to bring these flasks with them wherever they go... And I can say I now understand why.

It is very lightweight, even if you have ice in the bottle and it's completely full. I took this flask with me when I went on an hour and a half hike (a very hot and humid day), and I barely noticed I was carrying it. The straw was very convenient and made it easy to drink as much as I needed without getting cold sensitivity on my teeth. I was a little worried about the strap being fragile, but it handled being swung around and I had no fear of it breaking on me.

I love the color blue, and I liked the subtle look of the Matcha Ombre. The color is not as saturated as it is in the photos, but it is 99% close. I am a big fan of the color and the little bit of green mixed with it.

Now, as for the thermal capability... I only plan on using these bottles for cold drinks. I filled the flask with ice about halfway. The ice lasted throughout the entire hike, and when I got back home I still had a good amount to put into another cup to re-use. HydroFlask is definitely one of the best I've used for keeping drinks cold for hours on end.

Inside the box, there were instructions for taking apart the cap (which includes the straw and a red rubber piece to help keep the straw in place) and how to clean it properly. I appreciated this as I've never owned a HydroFlask product until now. It was easy to put it back together after cleaning.

I bought this item specifically for short walks and hikes, and I have full confidence it will perform exactly as I need it to. I definitely feel like I've got my money's worth out of the item, and I look forward to being able to use it more in the future! If you are on the fence about buying this item, I'd say you won't regret it.

It took me almost 7days before I give my judgement with my new hydroflask that I bought here. In 7days of using my hydroflask I can say that this is legit/authentic. They didn't give me an item that undergoe w/ a factory defect well we all know some of the store here in shopee when its discounted or they are in promo they are giving their factory defect items. Lol! But here in hydroflask ITS NOT A FACTORY DEFECT ITEM. Lol! The 2nd one maybe im just having my trust issues (always) i ask also the sales man in hydroflask if its the "REAL" flagship of HF. Well, it is! Hehehe! I feel.bad to those who received defected flask. Please to the seller of this account. Give them the best quality item. 🥹❤ (hindi sila nagtatae ng pera)
Rust issues and an expensive warranty
· Review provided by hydroflask.com · May 2, 2024
I purchased 2 of these and both of them developed rust because the stainless steel is clearly a low quality batch. My first bottle began to rust at the rim within 3 weeks, the second lasted about 4 months before rust started. The rims are getting progressively worse, and cleaning them just results in the rust coming back.

The extremely frustrating part... despite this being a manufacturing defect Hydro Flask expects me to pay to ship back the defective bottles! I bought these and provided photos to the support team, but it costs so much to mail them back that I would rather put the money towards a different product somewhere else. So disappointing, especially for a premium bottle that should last for years and years. My older HydroFlask bottles never had this issue and I hope the rest of my new ones fare better.
24 oz Wide Mouth with Flex Straw Cap
RehanaP· Review provided by hydroflask.com · March 27, 2025
Pros: easy to carry, great aesthetics.
Cons:
1. The straw on the lid must be positioned just so to activate the flow of water through the internal straw to your mouth.
2. If the bottle is left in a horizontal position for a longer period of time, water will pool at the cap and spill out. This happened in my daughter's book bag, and my gym bag.
3. To fully close the straw, you really have to press down on it, and it may not be practical for younger children.
This bottle feels like it was designed with form over function in mind. I would not buy it again.
