[Rewarded Review] Quality Not So Sturdy

August 21, 2024Purchased this hydro flask as a gift for someone. They had it literally two days, it fell a total of two feet from where they were seated onto the floor.
It was immediately damaged.
The image that this conveys some sense of sturdiness is misleading. A simple drop at the most should have only scuffed it or scratched it. That would be expected. But a container that wasn’t even full with liquid falling approximately two feet and suffering this kind of damage is extremely disappointing.
If this is the damage if receives from just dropping it from a seated position, what good will it do when being used elsewhere for hiking or working out?
The damage this received has left me with no confidence the insides haven’t cracked or chipped, likely exposing the giftee to possible health risks.
Buyer definitely purchase at your own risk.

May 2, 2024I purchased 2 of these and both of them developed rust because the stainless steel is clearly a low quality batch. My first bottle began to rust at the rim within 3 weeks, the second lasted about 4 months before rust started. The rims are getting progressively worse, and cleaning them just results in the rust coming back.
The extremely frustrating part... despite this being a manufacturing defect Hydro Flask expects me to pay to ship back the defective bottles! I bought these and provided photos to the support team, but it costs so much to mail them back that I would rather put the money towards a different product somewhere else. So disappointing, especially for a premium bottle that should last for years and years. My older HydroFlask bottles never had this issue and I hope the rest of my new ones fare better.

February 25, 2024Thanks for this excellent product it’s just what I need! I aim to drink 10 glasses of water daily and so many water bottles are way more than 2 cups. This 18 ounce water bottle makes it easier for me to keep track of how much water I’m drinking. I bought two 18 ounce flasks in different colors and alternate the liquid that I put in them: sometimes tea, sometimes electrolytes, mostly water. I hope you keep making this 18 oz size! It’s Also leakproof. The only improvement I would encourage is that it come with a standard stainless steel top. Thanks again for a top-notch product.

February 7, 2024I thought I would get a straw lid bottle for the first time to take with me on long walks. I opted for a bigger capacity bottle than usual (but still slim enough to grab with one hand easily) so that it can fit enough water for me and my boyfriend. I was so sad to find out that I really don't like it. 50% of first sips are air and I made sure to have my straw stuck in all the way. It's also mildly annoying that about 3 fl. oz. of water always gets left behind. The narrow neck was good to grab onto when sipping, but that also meant that it came a narrow handle that I found to be inconvenient. This is my first purchase and I regret not ordering something else.
