These are not great. If they added the handle to the regular flip cap that would be perfection. You align them and these leak, dribble, drip. The little red piece sometimes scooches out of place and there is the problem. Plus they are annoying to clean. It breaks up into four pieces. The regular flip cap worked better. Im so mad I can’t order those here and the only place I can find them is Amazon. We’ve bought hydro flasks for over a decade and this lid is my only grievance.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old grandson to use when he comes over. It’s the perfect size and I love the bright color. The straw is very easy for him to use. It’s also easy to wash. I wash it by hand, though it’s supposed to be dishwasher safe. I’ve had issues with other brands of water bottles with the finish being ruined in the dishwasher, so would rather not take the chance. The only negative is the price, it’s a bit high for a small water bottle; but I’m partial to Hydro Flask.

First, this company has great customer service since you can speak with a LIVE PERSON. The first top I ordered did not function correctly, but the company quickly sent out a replacement top. I still refer to the very clear instructions sent from Customer Service for putting it back together after cleaning (thank you), and I like the fact that you can take the top and thoroughly clean it. Top is perfect for hot beverages as the opening is not big and wide, and you can completely close that opening to avoid spillage. I also like the carrying strap. All around a great product.

I was very pleased with customer service, as they have always been quick to replace lost or broken parts. In this case a recently broken old style cap broke, and a new model was sent free of charge, 5 star service, thank you.
However the new wide mouth flex sip design caused hot liquid to come in contact with my upper lip sufficient to cause a burn!!! The new design is way too complicated as well. It has 4 parts, a top, a silicone gasket, a bottom and an inside part that fastens to the top part. What a pain to disassemble to wash, let set out to dry reassemble an hour or so later and put away for the next day!!!! Why a company that makes a terrific coffee mug gave up on a wonderfully simple 2 part top that snap hinged closed was way easier to wash, with no disassembly, and never burned my upper lip, is unbelievable! 0 stars for the engineering of the new wide mouth lid!
