Magic Firewall geoip rules are partially incorrect for some accounts
Resolved - A performance optimization for matching IP lists resulted in a small percentage of matches yielding an incorrect result. Some customers will have experienced false positives or false negatives in rules using IP lists, such as allowing or blocking by country code associated with a source address. As a result, some packets were errantly dropped, and others errantly passed. The optimization has been completely rolled back.

Billing Errors - managing payment methods, subscriptions, paying invoices & inaccurate unpaid balances
Resolved - This incident is now resolved.

Issues with managing account information such as payment methods, addresses, and company names have been resolved. Invoices have been restored for customers that had difficulty paying their open balances as of May 9, 2024.

The majority of issues with managing/canceling subscriptions for account holders are due to unpaid invoices.

If you are receiving dashboard errors when attempting to make modifications to your subscriptions and services please note that you may have an unpaid invoice that was previously hidden that can be paid using the following steps:
1. Log in to your Cloudflare account
2. Click on “Billing”
3. If you see an unpaid invoice click on it
4. From within the invoice, click the “Pay Online” link
5. You will then be redirected to the Billing system where you can proceed with your payment
6. Once the payment is made you should be able to make any desired changes to your subscription including downgrades and cancelation that are in adherence with Cloudflare policies

Update - We have identified separate root causes for some of the issues.
The team are now 80% through clearing the list of accounts blocked under maintenance hold. Accounts released from maintenance hold will return to having full billing and upgrading/downgrading functionality.

We are working, in parallel, to a solution for customers who are experiencing issues such as being incorrectly labeled as banned or bad debt, have missing or inaccurate invoices or have been incorrectly downgraded plans.

As we complete this work, impacted customers may continue to be unable to make changes to their billing account profile, including updating payment methods, billing addresses, or adding/upgrading/downgrading subscription plans. These customer accounts may also be downgraded temporarily, unable to add new sites, and unable to purchase/transfer/renew domains.
