With Apple Trade In, it’s easy to trade in your eligible device for credit or have it recycled for free.
Answer a few questions to get your estimated trade-in value. We’ll credit your payment method after we receive and evaluate your trade-in.
You’ll keep your trade-in device until you receive your new Apple Watch. Once your new Apple Watch ships, we’ll send an email with instructions on how to drop off your trade-in device or schedule a courier pick-up, as well as how to back up and transfer your data.
Once we receive your device, a team will inspect it and verify its condition. If everything checks out, your trade-in is complete. If your device doesn’t match the condition you described, you’ll receive an email with next steps.
If you paid in full and we confirm that the value of your trade-in was more than the cost of your new Apple Watch, you’ll receive an Apple Store Gift Card by email with the remaining amount.
If your device doesn’t qualify for trade-in credit, we’ll recycle it for free. Once you complete your purchase, you’ll get an email with instructions on how to box up your old device and arrange shipping.
