Accenture named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™: IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide for eleventh consecutive year
For the eleventh consecutive year, Accenture has been recognized as a Leader by Gartner, Inc. in its 2022 “Magic Quadrant for IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide” report.
Gartner positioned Accenture highest and furthest for its ability to execute and completeness of vision among the 13 companies it assessed. Accenture believes it was named as a Leader in the communications services provider (CSP) space because of its experience, methodology, CSP mind share and competitive mind share. Accenture also believes Gartner evaluated the most relevant providers and their offerings in IT services, consulting, systems integration, managed services and support services.
As per Gartner, “Leaders are suited for most ITS-CSP engagements. They are market-leading in several digital business transformation capabilities.”
For the report, Gartner defines IT services for CSPs as multivendor IT services that CSPs buy to enable solutions to their customers, or to transform their customer, partner, employee, service or infrastructure management. The IT services providers must deliver a cloud first, agile, automation and intelligence based “digital factory” that can support broader corporate goals of product diversification, innovation, revenue growth and improved digital customer journeys.

HFS Horizons recognizes Accenture for Platform Economy Leadership
Accenture has been positioned in Horizon 3, which is the strongest positioning in the HFS Horizons Report – Services for the Platform Economy, 2023.
This indicates that Accenture can drive an established practice or business unit for the platform economy across multiple organizations with common objectives around driving new sources of value.
This recognition follows a highlight report published in May where HFS Research acknowledged Accenture’s success with platform businesses, noting its depth and experience in this space, capitalizing on an early-mover advantage, tailored offerings, an agile mindset, and management consulting skills.
The report evaluates the capabilities of 7 service providers which are ranked across either Horizon 1, 2, or 3 based on the “Why” (value proposition), “What” (solutions and capabilities), “How” (the Go-to-Market strategy and investments), and “So What” (market impact in terms of mindshare and wallet share) of enterprise innovation.

Accenture named a Leader in platform IT services for both banking and capital markets by Everest Group
Accenture has, for the second consecutive time, been named a Leader in platform IT services for banking and capital markets in a report by industry analyst firm Everest Group.
In the report, titled “Platform IT Services in BFS PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2022,” Accenture is positioned as a Leader for both Market Impact, which assesses service providers against criteria such as market adoption, portfolio mix and value delivered to clients; and Vision & Capability, which measures firms’ strategy, scope of services, innovation & investments, and delivery.
The report notes that many banks and capital markets firms are focused on upgrading and modernizing their core systems, partnering with a mix of technology platforms and service vendors to fill gaps in their digital capabilities.
